Wishlist

In my family, passing wish lists around has become something of a tradition, so rather than trying to create one when an appropriate occasion comes around, I’ve tried off-and-on to keep one on my website. You might want to look at the last updated value for this page before giving it much credence. ;) 1

Gadgets

Kindle. $359.
eBook readers have somewhat interested me since they started appearing. What’s different about this one, mostly, is that a few people I respect both love their Kindles and say the Kindle Store’s experience is quite similar to the iTunes Store’s.
Kindle Leather Cover. $30.
Maybe I should actually hold the thing before deciding it needs a cover, but I know what the part of my backpack it’d live in looks like. It also seems a little better disguised (aside from that logo on the front, which somehow appeals to me in this context.
TiVo HD DVR. $230–$270.
While, granted, none of our TVs are HD, I have grown increasingly annoyed at my Series 2 TiVo’s method of controlling our cable box, and I’m sure we will upgrade…someday.

Subscriptions

Make. $35.
Cool, techish magazine about Do-it-Yourself technology.
GameFly
What I have instead of Netflix.

Gift Cards

Since people seemingly ran out of ideas for gift cards for me, here’s a few more:

Amazon, iTunes
Music, books, etc.
Apple
Okay, you all figured this one out on your own, but here it is anyway.

  1. Admittedly, this isn’t nearly as helpful of a suggestion as it would be if I was showing the last updated value somewhere.
